子 澄   zicheng


Zicheng graduated from the School of Cinematic Arts of the University of Southern California with an MFA degree in Film Production. Before that, he attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities to study psychology and sociology.


During his undergraduate study, he started making music, writing poems, and making short films, discovering his passion in arts as a way of reflecting his life, expressing his emotions, and communicating with the world.


He published his first poetry anthology Fleeting Years in 2014. His short film The Sound That Remains has been awarded Best Student Film and screened in London by London Independent Film Awards in 2017.


His MFA Thesis film A Sunburnt Summer, awarded for Best Actress, 2nd Place Best Short Film andAudience Award, and nominated for Best Director by The Monthly Film Festival in June 2020, has also been selected to screen at New Filmmakers LA in June 2020, and Be Epic London International Film Festival in August 2020.
